EAPS 40900 - Application Of Computers To Meteorology
Associated Term: Fall 2016
Learning Outcomes: 1. Learn to write code using various programming languages or analytical software, such as FOTRAN90 or MATLAB. 2. Become familiar with the NetCDF format and how to use an analytical software to visualize these data. 3. Become familiar with basic numerical techniques including linear interpolation, finite differencing, and numerical integration. 4. Leave the course with a module of subroutines that may be useful in future research.
