Learning Outcomes: At the completion of this course, the student will be able to: Discuss the basic fundamentals of clinical research. Understand and interpret statistical data in the published literature. Evaluate published literature as it pertains to study design, validity of results and application to treatment of specific patients and practice. Explain research outcomes from a clinical, economic and humanistic standpoint. Discuss the strengths/weaknesses of published current primary literature.
