Learning Outcomes: 1. Develop an understanding of the principles governing the motion of mechanical systems modeled as rigid bodies. 2. Develop an ability to analyze rigid-body kinematics in stationary as well as moving frames of reference. 3. Develop an ability to use Newton-Euler laws of rigid body motion. 4. Develop an understanding of the fundamental concepts in analytical dynamics, and the ability to use them to formulate the equations of motion for rigid bodies and systems.
